I wanted to send out some of the highlights from our
2004 three week road trip to Colorado and Las Vegas so

This is how we
spent the first 3 days in Montrose --
playin' badminton. Watch the
birdie!
Casey was watched over by Amy's parents while we went
to Vegas for four days. Looks like he had a good time, bulking up and being the
king.
"I love Pink Taco". This is Amy's outfit as we
went to Rain at The Palms resort. The dance floor was a
semicircular death trap suspended above water, bounded by a railing except for
two small staircases. Periodically, jets of flame would shoot out over the
dance floor. It was Friday night so it was packed with every 3rd
person from southern California. We had a great time dancing though, until
they started with the 80's tunes (shudder). Can you tell who's been working out?
This is the dress that got Amy in so much trouble.
She was very nervous about walking through the Aladdin wearing this dress on
Saturday night but she didn't have a coat so what can you do? Because of
the heels I walked her the short distance to the entrance and left her there
while I went back to get the truck. While I was gone an old man
propositioned her and then an Escalade pulled up with a bunch of brothers
hanging out and wagging their tongues and such. A hooker jumped out and
ran over to Amy and asked her if she needed a ride. I guess if a
professional mistakes you for a colleague you might be dressed too sexy for the
Aladdin. Amy said every woman who came out gave her a dirty look. On
the other hand, she fit right in at the fetish ball once we got there.
I
just love the 4 foot afro. The numerologists gave him a great score (click
here if you are confused).
I don't even know what to say about this picture.
On
the last day in Vegas I went to see Skintight at Harrah's. It's
produced by Greg Thompson productions, whose office is right down the street
from F5 (and its surrounded by razor wire for some reason). I'd never seen
a topless review before but it was awesome, cheesy and hilarious at the same
time. I recommend it. Especially if you can find one of the 2-for-1
coupons in the weekly Las Vegas "What's On" magazine.
Lastly, while the
Defcon that I saw was pretty tame, apparently from the pictures there was quite a
lot of craziness going on in the hotel rooms.
